Rachel discovered a passion for dentistry during her United States Peace Corps service. With an undergraduate degree in Development Economics and Spanish, Rachel was determined to improve the quality of life in her rural village post in Guatemala. While working with women’s groups she had the opportunity to translate for visiting doctor and dentist groups.
After returning to New York, Rachel earned a degree in dental hygiene from NYU. What she learned there about accessible dental care and the power of compassion in medicine continues to drive her commitment to patient care today.
